Saint John’s Dreamiest Art Show (With Cocktails and Couture)

If you’ve been craving a little magic, mark your calendar for May 31. Divine Studios, owned by artist and designer Abigail Reinhart, is about to throw what could easily be the most unforgettable creative event of the season.

Located in uptown Saint John, Divine Studios is hosting a one-night-only art show that brings together 21 New Brunswick artists, all creating under one shared theme: dreams. It’s part exhibit, part fashion show, and all kinds of inspiring.

Cocktail Hour + Creative Firepower

This isn’t your standard gallery opening. From 6 to 10 p.m., guests will be welcomed into the studio for a cocktail hour surrounded by original works that explore the surreal, the subconscious, and the limitless landscape of the dreaming mind.

Expect a wildly diverse mix, from delicate watercolours to bold abstracts, all created by some of the province’s most compelling artists. The lineup reads like a who’s who of the New Brunswick art scene, but the vibe is relaxed, stylish, and full of good conversation.

Introducing From Nothing: Upcycled Fashion Hits the Runway

As if dreamy artworks on canvas weren’t enough, the evening will also debut Reinhart’s latest creative venture: From Nothing, a capsule fashion collection made entirely from recycled materials and reworked garments. Designed and and sewn by Reinhart herself, these one-of-a-kind pieces will walk the runway in a live fashion show that merges slow fashion and sustainability with high concept.

As a boundary-pushing artist, Reinhart proves that sustainability isn’t just a buzzword. Her collection speaks to a deeper philosophy: "With creativity and resourcefulness, we can reshape not just materials, but ideas, narratives, and entire systems." Her pieces reflect how we heal and reassemble ourselves and our world. The collection will be available for sale after the show, so if you fall in love with something on the runway (you will), you won’t have to leave empty-handed. Tickets are $25 and selling fast—grab yours now!
