The mountain boasts 28 kilometers of meticulously groomed trails for cross-country skiing, alongside opportunities for fat biking, walking, and snowshoeing. The park's dedicated staff ensure the trails are in prime condition throughout the winter, providing a perfect setting for both novice and experienced skiers.

 

Enhanced Winter Facilities

Turtle Mountain in NB isn't just about the trails. The park has significantly enhanced its amenities to improve the winter experience. The park now features a new warming hut at John Lake equipped with a cozy wood stove, ideal for relaxation. For overnight stays, guests can book the rustic James Lake cabin, which sleeps about 12 people. Additionally, the newly introduced Adventure Huts at Adam Lake provide a unique, tranquil retreat nestled in nature.

The park extends its wintertime allure with:

 

  • Ice Fishing: Available on Adam, Bower, Max, and William Lakes.

 

  • Sledding and Skating: Enjoy a family-friendly sledding hill at Adam Lake, complete with a fire pit and warm-up shelter. Nearby, a skating pond also offers a warm-up shelter and an outdoor fire pit, making it a delightful spot for families and groups.

 

  • Snowmobiling: Explore the extensive snowmobiling trails that crisscross the park, providing another adventurous way to experience Turtle Mountain's snowy landscape.
