Artists across New Brunswick are invited to transform their creative talents into thriving businesses with the return a popular arts meets business program. Applications are now open for the Winter 2025 session of ArtsLink NB's CATAPULT Arts Accelerator program, a transformative program designed to help artists in the province master essential entrepreneurial skills and propel their careers to new heights.
Craft Your Career
Participants engage in eight weeks of sessions covering business modeling, marketing, branding, financial planning, and strategies for expanding their art internationally. The workshops are facilitated by a blend of seasoned business professionals and prominent figures from the art community, ensuring a comprehensive and diverse educational experience.
Mentorship and Coaching
A unique aspect of the program is the personalized coaching provided to each artist. Alongside tailored guidance from the program coordinator, participants receive formal mentorship from leaders in various artistic fields. This mentorship continues for a full year post-program, supported by funded travel opportunities for mentorship pairs, attendance at additional workshops, and close collaboration, ensuring sustained professional growth.
Participation in the program is complimentary for ArtsLink members, thanks to funding from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Province of New Brunswick. The program includes all sessions, materials, and meals on training days. Participants from outside the immediate area are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
Eligibility and Application
Applications are welcomed from individual artists or groups/collectives based in New Brunswick, across all disciplines. Eligibility requires membership in ArtsLink NB. Ideal candidates are those prepared to commit fully to this rigorous program, aiming to turn their artistic endeavors into sustainable full-time careers, and who value collaborative learning and feedback.
